SMS Compliance and Messaging Program Disclosure
Effective Date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
This page describes the SMS messaging program operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME, confirm with attorney] ("Hit Network"). It explains what messages we send, how to opt in, how to opt out, and how to get help.
Program Description
Hit Network operates an SMS messaging program to send account-related and transactional messages to users who have explicitly opted in. Typical recipients include creator partners working with Hit Network, business contacts who submitted an inquiry, and people Hit Network has an existing business relationship with.
This is not a general marketing or promotional blast list. We do not buy or rent phone numbers. Every recipient on the program opted in directly with Hit Network.
Message Types
Messages sent through the program may include:
- Appointment and meeting reminders
- Account-related notifications (for example, status updates on an active engagement)
- Follow-ups to inquiries that the recipient initiated
- Operational and transactional updates relevant to the recipient's relationship with Hit Network
The program is not used to send unsolicited promotional content to general consumers.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your relationship with Hit Network and the purpose you opted in for. We send no more than [N, confirm with attorney; typical is "10 messages per month"] messages per month per opted-in user under normal conditions.
If you opted in for a specific event (for example, a one-time follow-up), you may receive fewer messages, or only the messages tied to that purpose.
How to Opt In
You opt in to receive SMS messages from Hit Network by one of the following methods:
- Submitting a form on hitnetwork.com that includes your phone number and a checkbox confirming you consent to receive SMS messages from Hit Network. The consent language is shown next to the checkbox at the time of submission.
- Providing verbal consent during onboarding as part of a creator partnership or business engagement, where Hit Network documents your consent in writing (date, time, method, phone number, purpose).
- Replying to a confirmation message from Hit Network with a confirming keyword when required.
Consent is captured and stored along with the date, method, and purpose of opt-in.
You can also opt in by texting START or JOIN to a Hit Network short code or phone number if one has been provided to you.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out at any time by replying to any Hit Network SMS message with any of the following keywords:
- STOP
- END
- CANCEL
- UNSUBSCRIBE
- QUIT
After you reply with one of these keywords, you will receive a single confirmation message acknowledging the opt-out, and we will stop sending you messages.
If you opt out and later want to receive messages again, you will need to opt in again using one of the methods described above.
